Sam Anderson is now on Nidecker Snowboards
Nidecker Snowboards has welcomed Sam Anderson to its roster of riders. The Minneapolis-based street specialist joins a team that includes Craig McMorris, Liam Brearley, and Jed Sky as the Swiss brand continues to build its presence in the North American market.
Anderson arrives on the back of a breakthrough season in 2025 that saw his part in Sinister Films' PICKPOCKET draw widespread acclaim from some of the biggest names in the business. This winter, he features in Sinister’s follow-up movie, Head Under Water, and is currently a year into a two-season video project with The Bomb Hole.

Anderson stands out in the current scene for both his creative riding and razor-sharp mind. A mechanical engineering graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he has applied his degree to helmet R&D at Trek Bikes and, most recently, in medical device manufacturing. That same analytical intelligence is evident in his unique trick selection and spot hunting, which are pushing street snowboarding to a new level.
"The biggest thing that piqued my interest at Nidecker was knowing it's independently owned by people that love snowboarding," Anderson says. "From that first conversation, I was really impressed. There wasn't any feeling that I had to fit a mold."
Global Sports Marketing Manager Tom Pelley believes Anderson is a natural fit for the direction the brand is heading: "Sam is exactly the kind of rider we want to support. His technical creativity on rails, his filmmaking instincts and his unique background make him genuinely different – and that’s what Nidecker is all about. We're stoked to have him on board and excited to see where he takes things next."
Anderson will join the Nidecker crew at Team Week in Laax this March.
