The Arc'teryx Freeride Academy returns to St. Anton in 2026!

From the 5th to the 8th of February, St. Anton am Arlberg once again becomes the centre of the freeride universe, with the Freeride Academy offering on-mountain clinics alongside a complete program of free events, experiences, and spaces built to connect, inspire, and grow the freeride community. Participants will be enabled to advance their technical skills on snow by learning from world-class guides and professional athletes in one of Europe’s most renowned freeride destinations.

Upgrade Your Skills
The Academy’s clinics cover freeride essentials like avalanche safety, ski touring, splitboarding, and mountain photography. Whether you’re just starting or pushing your limits, there’s a session designed for everyone.
Led by world-class mountain guides and professional athletes like Elena Hight and Severin Van der Meer, Arc'teryx Freeride Academy clinics are an opportunity to learn technical skills and put them into practice in the field.

What to expect from the Arc'teryx Freeride Academy 2026:

  • Clinics for all levels

  • Freeride, Touring, Alpinism

  • Avalanche & Risk Management

  • Elena Hight & Severin Van der Meer Signature Clinics

  • Photography & Film

  • Women's-Only Clinics

This year, the Freeride Academy is expanding its offering to over 500 clinic spots, increasing the number of intermediate-level clinics, and emphasizing women-only clinics for all levels and activities. Watch out for snowboard clinics like "Make the mountain your playground" or "Advanced Freeride Snowboarding" where you can lift your skills to a new level!

From the slopes straight to the Freeride Village
The Freeride Village in the heart of St. Anton serves as the community hub where guests, athletes, guides, partners, and locals connect, find inspiration, and share knowledge.
The Village’s fully stacked daily program features free activities, from live music performances and movie screenings to athlete-led workshops and talks, enabling conversation and story sharing. Visitors can also browse partner stands, test the latest gear at the Arc’teryx Gear Library, and get free repairs while learning about how Arc'teryx keeps the good in play at the ReBIRD Repair & Care Centre.

Why St. Anton?
St. Anton is built for freeriders. Its mix of technical descents, hidden powder stashes, and legendary après-ski makes it the ideal setting for the Academy. The town’s freeride culture runs deep, and the energy is infectious.
