After the Games, the stage is set: Absolut Park Spring Battle & FIS Snowboard World Cup Flachau
The Olympic spotlight may be fading, but the momentum continues. From 15–21 March 2026, the global snowboard elite heads straight from the Olympic stage in Italy to Austria’s Absolut Park at Shuttleberg for one of the most anticipated back-to-back events of the season: the Absolut Park Spring Battle and the FIS Snowboard World Cup Flachau. Olympic medalists and the world’s top riders have already confirmed their participation, promising a week of world-class progression and high-stakes competition.

One course, two major events, double the opportunities
Following last year’s tremendous success, it was clear that the combination of Spring Battle and World Cup would continue. The Spring Battle, a long-standing tradition since 2002, takes place annually at Absolut Park and has evolved into one of the largest and most progressive contests within the independent snowboard scene of the World Snowboard Federation. The unique Follow-Cam Jam Session format—where snowboarders are followed by camera crews and high-speed drones—opens up entirely new creative possibilities. During the event period from 15 to 18 March, 80 men and 40 women will have the opportunity to capture their perfect slopestyle run on video. It may sound like plenty of time, but pushing personal limits, progressing the sport, and delivering the perfect run remains the ultimate challenge.
For Spring Battle, the setup in Absolut Park will be completely redesigned and enhanced with numerous new and versatile features, enabling especially creative lines and innovative tricks. Immediately afterward, the same course will host the FIS Snowboard World Cup Flachau. At the penultimate Slopestyle World Cup of the season, the preliminary decisions on the road to the coveted crystal globes could already be made. The finals for both women and men will take place on Saturday, 21 March. Within just one week, riders will have the chance to earn double points on the World Snowboard Points List and compete for prize money twice.

Rail Jam Spectacle in Front of the Chill House
In addition, the Spring Battle Rail Jam will be held directly in front of the Chill House at the base of Absolut Park. The final setup will only be revealed shortly before the event and promises highly technical rail combinations. The Rail Jam Finals on Tuesday will be streamed live on YouTube, along with all other Spring Battle decisions.
The World’s Best. One Legendary Park. One Unmissable Week
With Olympic momentum, a progressive contest format, and the world’s best riders competing back-to-back, Absolut Park once again confirms its status as one of snowboarding’s premier global stages.
