Rome Snowboards Welcomes Cooper Whittier to the Pro Team

Rome Snowboards is thrilled to officially announce the addition of Cooper Whittier to the Global Pro Team. A blueprint of precision and style, Cooper’s arrival marks a homecoming of sorts, uniting one of snowboarding’s most influential modern riders with the brand that has championed East Coast snowboarding since its inception.

A product of the East, Whittier embodies the DIY spirit that has defined Rome Snowboards since its inception in 2001. In addition to the Global Pro Team is a natural evolution for a rider who prioritizes style and creativity-traits that have been part of Rome’s foundation since day one.“To grow up around Rome’s legacy, and appreciate it as a fan, makes this move even more special,” states Whittier.“It’s going to be an exciting new chapter for the brand, and I feel lucky to be a part of it.”

“Cooper is a once-in-a-generation talent who approaches snowboarding with a vision that is purely his own”, says Ben Morse, Rome Snowboards’ Global Brand Director. “His attention to detail, commitment to the process, and obsession with product truly align with the core of the Rome brand.”

Whittier’s impact on the culture extends far beyond his individual parts. As a founding member of The Dustbox, Cooper has been instrumental in pushing the needle of snowboard media, favoring raw, authentic storytelling and tight-knit crew dynamics. His commitment to the community and the “crew-first” mentality aligns perfectly with Rome’s values.

Snowboarders worldwide can expect to see Cooper Whittier riding Rome Snowboards and bindings effective immediately–riding alongside the likes of Rene Rinnekangas, Lolo Derminio, Derek Lemke, Noah Coville, and more.
