Although returning to Laax Open bears some expectable delights, like some insane snowboarding, the good coffee at NoName or the stunning snowpark; every year is different. This time finals got postponed and even cancelled. Also, traditionalists feared that by including Freeski to the Open, the contest might not be the same anymore. Well, it wasn't – but not for the worse. Buckle up for some nostalgia, the queens of snowboarding and a sobbing old man.
Congratulations to the Laax Open Winners 2023
Olympic champion Zoi Sadowski Synnott (NZL) and World champion Marcus Kleveland (NOR) take home the LAAX OPEN Slopestyle titles, while Japanese Junior Olympic champions Ono Mitsuki (JPN) and Ruka Hirano (JPN) are the 2023 Halfpipe champions.

Laax Opens Natural Snowpark "Free60"
The winter sports resort of Laax is known for freestyle, four exciting snowparks for every level and the largest half pipe in the world. Since last weekend, a further, fifth snowpark is available to action-hungry snowboarders: The new "Free60" Natural Snowpark between Crap Sogn Gion and Plaun. The special feature: the elements are in the unprepared terrain, made of wood and covered with snow.
