Less than a year after this tragic event, his wife Nina Grilc and JH agreed to carry out the project that will help his message and spirit to live on. The snowfalls of the last few days in the high mountains make it possible: On October 7, 2022, the season on the Kitzsteinhorn at Zell am See-Kaprun, Austria will begin – and the Glacier Park will also open the very next day with the first obstacles.
Kaunertal Opening, Extended Version: New KTO Format on 2 Weekends in Autumn!
This year the event will take place on 2 weekends. The starting signal falls in mid-October with the "Jib'n'Playground Edition". About a month later, part two of the opening will follow in mid- November with the "1st Kaunertal Testival Open & the Snowpark Days". Both weekends offer in the usual KTO manner a big program with a lot of "Cash4Tricks" and cool side events.
