Meet Todd Kohlmann aka TK, the archivist at Burton Snowboards. Being a snowboard archivist basically means protecting snowboarding and Burton's history, one board at a time. TK has met and built relationships with some of the world’s top collectors and gotten behind-the-scenes access to their collections.

Episode 1: One of the first Burton Prototypes

TK heads to Salt Lake City to meet up with the local weatherman, Kevin Eubank, who’s transformed his house into an entire exhibit just for them to check out. Kevin likes to take old catalog shots and recreate entire outfits down to the thread. And word on the street is he has an early Burton prototype that not even TK has seen.

Episode 2: Exploring a Snowboard Collection Hidden in this SLC Car Shop

TK is back in SLC to meet up with John Mueller, a die-hard Burton enthusiast and one of Salt Lake’s most active collectors. His collection focuses on the early years of his riding and any plank that speaks to him. Along with being an avid collector, John is an expert in restoring boards to their factory out-of-the-box feel.

Episode 3: Inside Deadlung’s Salt Lake Home

If you’re well-versed in street snowboarding, you know Deadlung. But you may not know that he is an avid snowboard collector. In his early days, he rode for Burton as a regional rider before joining the ranks of the infamous TechNine snowboards squad.
