(New York, NY, USA / LAAX, Switzerland) – September 18, 2025 – LAAX will host the fourth and final event of The Snow League, the first professional sports league entirely dedicated to snowboarding and freeskiing founded by Shaun White, from March 19–21, 2026, bringing the world’s best snowboarders to its legendary superpipe. Thirty-six snowboarders will compete in the season finale, where the very first Snow League World Champions will be crowned.
Shaun White says: “The Snow League brings to life the kind of unified global competition I could only dream of during my career. We’ve assembled the best athletes and are now delivering on our promise to host competitions at world-class resorts.”
The legendary halfpipe at LAAX on Crap Sogn Gion mountain is a natural fit for The Snow League’s debut in Europe. Renowned for hosting world-class halfpipe competitions, the resort features a proven halfpipe shaped daily by master builder Jeremy Carpenter. Shaun White has long given his stamp of approval to this venue, most recently in 2022 when his standout performance here secured qualification for his fifth Olympic Games.
Omer Atesmen, CEO of The Snow League, adds "LAAX is the perfect stage for the final event of The Snow League's first season. It’s an iconic freestyle destination that reflects the creativity, progression, and community at the heart of The Snow League. We’re thrilled to crown our inaugural Season One champions here.”
Fans can expect nonstop action throughout the competition, including sunset concerts during Friday and Saturday’s competition. All of it unfolds around the Crap Sogn Gion mountain station.
