Proto LTD Series - Armada Snowboards
What began just over a year ago as blank, snowboard-shaped pieces of paper has evolved into the very first Armada Snowboards collection.
While rumors about Armada Snowboards circulated, most people had no idea. The prototype graphics, marked with numerical codes, played a vital role in the initial testing phase. After dozens of prototypes, weeks of product testing, and countless team calls, they narrowed it down to nine boards: three women’s, three men’s, and three unisex models.
This January, in celebration of the line they landed on, Armada is offering you the chance to own your very own Proto-inspired LTD Series before anyone else. The Proto LTD series derives from the testing process their entire team went through last season, and, through select retailers, they want to share a part of that process in limited quantities, exclusively.
Daninmals on the Beatnik LTD
Beatnik LTD
Danimals’ signature snowboard, the Beatnik, is a directional shape meant to be ridden all over the resort with a freestyle approach. Built specifically to make side hits, rollers, berms, rope ollies, and top-to-bottom park laps more fun. A directional board sporting a traditional camber profile, with an early rise for nose and tail. If Dan approves, so do we.
Do-Si-Do LTD
Armada’s women ’s-specific directional model, the Do-Si-Do, is known for its freestyle-friendly shape, perfect flex, and profound pop. Side hits, deep turns, ollieng signs, and top-to-bottom park laps, this one does it all. This one is also a directional board with a traditional camber profile and early rise at the nose and tail. According to Stefi Luxton, “This board is a true representation of something that’s gonna ride in the powder and in the park and basically do everything.”
