Horsefeathers Team Week 2025
Team weeks - these absolute gems of an activity are so often forgotten about these days. Horsefeathers hasn’t.
The formula is pretty straightforward: nine riders, one resort, four days, zero distractions. Just park laps, side hits, laughs, and a house full of people who are all there for the same reason – to ride together and have the best time possible packed into a few days.
For their 2025 Team Week, Horsefeathers brought their whole crew together again after a year. Four days were spent snowboarding, messing around on and off the hill, and just hanging out together as a team. The idea was simple: get everyone in the same place, let them ride together again, share lines, push each other a bit, and soak up those good times.
Riders in attendance were as follows: Ethan Morgan, Zenja Potapov, Fabian Fraidl, Jacco Bos, Robin Wiik, Clemens Bergmann, Steve Gruber, Maty Krejčí, and Anne Sophie Lechon. Unfortunately, Halldór was busy teamweeking it up with a bunch of losers somewhere else at the time.
Backing the crew were Vašek Čajka, photographer Prouzič, and filmer Stefan Uskov.

Almost everyone already knew each other from past trips and events, so the vibe clicked from the first gondola ride. No awkward warm-up phase, just straight into laps and jokes. While TM Jacco Bos kept everything flowing, connecting riders, park crew, and whatever was happening on the hill in real time, his latest acquisition, Robin Wiik, a first-time attendee after joining the team last year, in typical Robbie manner, was fired up to go hard.

Hintertux offered the crew a bit of everything during the week, keeping things interesting. Instead of stressing, the squad just followed what the glacier was offering each day. The Betterpark crew had the place dialed. The focus was on running full lines across the park, following each other, trying new tricks on the fly, and keeping the session moving.
Team Week is never only about what happens between the first and last chair. It’s about everything that wraps around it. After riding, things followed a pretty simple pattern: boards in the rack, fire up the grill, gather everyone around the table, and dive into endless talk that jumps from riding to life and back again.

One night, Fabian pulled out a DJ setup, and Ethan took over, turning the living room into a tiny club. What started as a quick music session turned into a two-hour DJ lesson, with everyone hanging out, learning a bit, and laughing a lot. Perfect after-ride vibe.
Jacco also lined up a surprise “bonus program”: a crew trip to the gym. The idea was simple – show that snowboarding isn’t just about riding, but also about putting in a bit of work off the hill. Watching some of the riders deal with dry training for the first time and learning new stuff was pure entertainment. Not everyone is used to swapping their board for dumbbells.
The week was closed out with a final event: Horsefeathers Sneak the Tweak – the best possible way to end Team Week.
A bunch of riders went all-in on one-foot and no-foot tricks during Fabi’s One Foot Session. Some even rode completely out of their bindings, and the whole thing quickly exploded into a loose, chaotic, totally fun session. It felt like the perfect summary of the whole trip: no pressure, just friends, snowboards, and pure joy of riding.

Looking back, Team Week wasn’t about ticking off a list or chasing some perfect plan. It was about riding together a lot, sharing lines, creating inside jokes, and reminding ourselves why we all started snowboarding in the first place.
